One of the best things about our school is the community surrounding it. This extends beyond parents and families into the wider community – locally, London-wide and internationally – we are, of course, proud to be part of a network of over 900 Waldorf Steiner schools worldwide.
We need help – lots of it! – to build our vision of extending this wonderful education to reach more families and develop an upper school for London, which currently does not exist.
Feeling inspired?
This page is full of ideas on how you could help us on the journey to a new Steiner School for London for children aged 3 1⁄2 – 18 years
Here are 5 ideas of how you can help our school
- Donate Money
- Donate services
- Donate stuff
- Exchange for Art
- Organize an Event
Make a monetary donation. The Waldorf School of South West London is a registered charity and operates on a not for profit basis. If you would like to make a regular donation to the school, or a one-off contribution we welcome this valuable help to grow our Steiner School and keep it at the current astonishing rate of 30 – 40% on a bursary scheme. Please click here to Donate Money
Donate a skill/time. Give your time to paint, call school alumni or even help in our school shop. The first step would be to email us today by clicking here or call our school office on 8671 6846 to discuss how you could get involved. We welcome friendly volunteers.
Donate stuff. If you have a craft, transport, storage space anywhere in South London, a vat of paint or spare wood to make raised beds for our school garden or any similar gifts please don’t hesitate to email us today by clicking here or call our school office on 8671 6846. We welcome anything from old gym equipment to playsand (and anything in between!)
Apply to buy or give Art. We have already been given some beautiful art for our unique Art Auction, the first phase of which is due to take place later in 2010. To find out more about the Auction please click here or on the Duncan Grant vase artwork to the left (recently donated and we love it!) Please click here to Exchange for Art
Organise an event. Do you fancy organising a fundraising coffee morning, a fundraising cycle ride, barn dance or ‘Eurovision’ or anything else? We would be delighted if you emailed our fundraising group today by clicking here or called our school office on 020 8671 6846 to explain your idea. Please click here to Organize an Event
Many thanks to the very many people who have donated to our school over the last 25 years ~ many of the items donated way back then are still in use!
