The Brixton Market Traders Federation will be putting on an exciting event for local makers, growers and artists in Brixton Station Road on Saturday, 10th September 2011 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

The event is aimed at Lambeth’s creative and entrepreneurial population. The idea is to provide a showcase for the talents of people who grow their own produce and those that make and/or design their own products. The creation of Brixton’s first meet the makers’ event will put local producers face to face with established Brixton businesses and shoppers.

It’s going to be a fantastic day with over 30 fabulous stallholders selling beautiful homemade goods such as jewellery, clothing, artwork and skincare.  You can also find locally grown plants and herbs, and delicious chocolate cakes, biscuits and savoury muffins.

And there’ll be live music and workshops on the day.
We aim to help promote and support local business’s and encourage the community to buy locally.
