Serendipidous Summer is Coming!!…
….We would just like to let all our groovy punters know that so far we have raised about £1700 in total at Serendipity just generally enjoying ourselves and spreading the luurrve
.
This has gone towards:
- paint brushes
- craft materials
- computer hardware
- removal costs
- recorders
- workshop on boundaries
- outing for class three
- a surprise for the school yet to be announced (!)
Amazing to know that we can create so much by lazing around together doing things that we love… I wager things can only get better when we move back into our garden for the summer that seems to have arrived…
Having pretty much moved on to the common land of Streatham in the last few days, only darkening my own door come sunset, I can highly recommend the life of an urban wanderer so come while away the glorious Thursday hours of summer with us down at Serendipity and perhaps get take-out lunch or tea for those hazy never ending afternoons to come. We will be doing take-outs this season in containers that are Mother Earth friendly of course. We also have new things on the menu featuring lots of raw food to keep us in tune with nature and her goings on!!
Serendipity will be hitting the road to try our hand at the Urban Green Fair in June, so all proceeds will go towards food other goodies for that extravaganza. Please can you let us know if you can help on the day or if you are experienced in the ways of a nomadic cafe and can thus advise us a little in our new venture… all hands on deck please – this is gonna be a big one!!
We will be back next Thursday nineteenth May with bells on my friends and plenty of glitter to welcome the summer. Our groovy Land Lady and Land Lord and then some… are currently sleeping the enchanted sleep of the jet lagged and are expected to emerge around Sunday huge welcome home to the both of yers you have been missed hope you are well rested and ready for some fun.
Last but never least calling all maestros to Serendipity to be permanent residents for the summer term – you know it makes sense!
May we always meet under serendipitous circumstances.
big smiley love
