Indoors and Outdoors – more toddlers please!
Parent and Child Group
In a quiet, relaxed environment with soft colours and natural materials children play freely with simple wooden toys, handmade rag dolls, play cloths and natures toys; conkers, shells and pinecones.
There is a seasonal craft or activity, e.g. drawing with pure beeswax crayons, then tidying-up time is followed by a wholesome organic snack and the session ends with ring time and singing seasonal songs.
Parents and children from newborn to three and a half years are welcome. Sessions are held during term time on Monday and Tuesday afternoons, 1-3pm in the kindergarten at Riggindale Road Methodist Church, Streatham, SW16. Sessions cost £4 per family.
‘Hedgesparrows’ - An Outdoor Parent and Child Group
Gathered together outside in the natural environment children are free to explore their surroundings.
There is a seasonal craft using natural objects and materials followed by (organic) snack time and ‘ringtime’; singing songs inspired by the seasons. Please bring appropriate clothing for all weather experiences for you and your child.
Parents and children from newborn to three and a half years are welcome. Sessions are held on Tuesday mornings during term time, 10-12. Session costs £4 per family. Meet at Tooting Bec Lido car park for a walk to our glade location.
